The Mission:

As Associate Director – Business Development, your role is to drive high-value partnerships with financial institutions across India. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and consultative selling to closing and growing strategic accounts. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role designed for someone who thrives in outcome-driven environments.

What You'll Do

1. Pipeline Generation & Prospecting

Identify and engage high-potential banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and financial institutions.

Design and run personalized outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and calls.

Build visibility and network through events, roundtables, and industry forums.

2. Consultative Selling & Discovery

Lead discovery conversations to understand clients’ collections pain points.

Craft tailored solutions using DPDzero’s platform—clearly demonstrating business value and ROI.

Customize proposals and demos for cross-functional stakeholders—credit, product, ops, and risk teams.

3. Deal Management & Closing

Own end-to-end sales cycles—from first pitch to final contract.

Build strong champions, influence C-level decision-makers, and navigate multi-threaded deals.

Lead pricing, negotiation, legal, and procurement discussions with a long-term partnership lens.

Maintain accurate pipeline health and forecasts in tools like Salesforce or Pipedrive.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Delivery & Implementation to ensure seamless onboarding.

Share market intelligence with Product and Marketing to influence roadmap and messaging.

Help sharpen the overall sales playbook—scripts, collateral, outreach strategies.

5. Account Management & Growth

Deepen relationships with existing clients, turning them into long-term strategic partners.

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand wallet share.

Monitor account health and proactively address client needs.

Deliver quarterly business reviews and maintain high satisfaction scores.

Who You Are

• 8–10 years of B2B sales experience in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise tech.

• Proven experience selling to banks, NBFCs, or regulated financial institutions.

• A trusted advisor—able to uncover pain, build compelling narratives, and close high-stakes deals.

• Strong communication and presentation skills—you’re comfortable with C-level conversations and value-first pitches.

• Data-driven and fluent in CRMs, dashboards, and outbound tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Lusha, etc.)

• High ownership mindset—you move fast, stay proactive, and love figuring things out.

• Bonus: Exposure to credit, collections, lending, or ops teams. Even better if you're curious and a quick learner.
