About the Role
DPDZero is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale the infrastructure powering our digital collections and recovery platform. This is a high-impact role where you'll own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and deployment strategies that ensure performance, reliability, and security at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate scalable, secure, highly available, and cost‑efficient AWS infrastructure for our platform
 - Build and maintain containerized deployments with Docker and orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes)
 - Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable delivery
 - Partner with engineers to improve application performance and scalability
 - Own availability, disaster recovery, and monitoring/alerting across environments
 - Implement security best practices and ensure compliance
 - Manage and optimize RDS (PostgreSQL) for integrity and performance
 - Provide infrastructure for in‑house hosting used by select lenders and banks, ensuring data privacy and client‑specific deployments
 - Mentor engineers, guide tooling choices, and shape DevOps standards and direction
 
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering
 - Strong expertise with AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM)
 - Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
 - Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
 - Experience managing and optimize databases, preferably RDS PostgreSQL
 - Strong knowledge of networking, cloud security, and observability (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
 - Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)
 - Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills
 - Experience mentoring engineers and fostering strong team culture
 
Nice to have
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or other certifications
 - Experience with hybrid/on-premises infrastructure
 - Familiarity with financial services, banking, or collections domains
 - Exposure to multi-tenant architectures and secure data hosting
