The role:
DPDZero is looking for a Director of Analytics to lead their Analytics and Data Science teams. 80% of collections decisions in DPDZero are driven by data. You will lead the charter that powers this and create a perennial moat for DPDZero’s success.
This will happen through
- Creating the data strategy and align it with the long term success of the company
- Creating and fine-tuning custom ML models at every decision step in the core workflows
- Building a high calibre team by hiring well, setting clear long term objectives and unblocking them to perform great work.
- Mentoring and guiding the teams
- Understand the short & long term business needs, work with leadership and business teams to achieve business goals.

What you must have:
- You have the ability to move fast with velocity.
- 8+ years in analytics
- Minimum experience as a Director of Analytics leading 10+ member analytics & data science teams.
- Experience building custom ML models from scratch and using them in production.
- Demonstrable experience working with scale in Series B+ startups
- The ability to move fast while holding the larger picture in mind.
- This role requires you to spend hands-on time with building the models while managing internal teams and day to day business stakeholders
- We’re growing significantly and it needs a focused effort from the team to execute fast and deliver. If you’re looking for a 9-5, this won’t be a great fit.
Good to haves:
- Experience with GenAI data products
- Experience in the lending industry.
- Experience reporting to founders
